Custom email settings

In our first release of this year, we’re bringing you small improvements - better control over e-mails sent from Whisper Memos.

You can now change the e-mail address where your memos are sent.

This is useful if you’ve signed in with Apple ID, and want to send to a different e-mail address.

It’s very useful for 3rd party apps, such as Things or Trello. They often provide a catch-all email, where you can send tasks or notes.

For more advanced routing, please check out our Zapier integration. It lets you send memos to multiple apps, based on the content of the memo. (Parsed by AI, of course!)

Emojis and prefix

We’ve received complaints, ehm, about emojis being a little silly. In this latest version, you can turn them off in the preferences. Keep those memos professional!

Similarly, our “[Whisper]” prefix in subject line can now be turned off. You can still tell the email came from us - the sender name is still “Whisper Memos”.
