Introducing agents

Hi, I wanted to show you our new feature called agents.

If I go to settings, we have a new item, agents, here. I can create a new agent. We are going to call him Jack and give him a blue color. Now whenever I record a memo that starts with something like "Hello, Jack," it is going to run this agent, and I can define what happens when I invoke him by name.

So far we have no steps. Let's create a step. For Jack, I want him to forward my memos to Things, the to-do application. Things provides a custom email address like this, which means if I forward my to-dos here, they will appear in the app. I will also enable extracting to-dos, so if I dictate a memo containing multiple to-do items, each one will be sent as a separate item to Things.

So now I have created my Jack agent, and I am able to invoke him like this: "Hello Jack. Today I need to take out the trash." Once processing finishes, I can see that Jack handled this task, this memo, and it has been created in my Things app by this time.

You can integrate with all of our integrations, for example Reflect or Cursor, or you can set up Zapier. That way we can integrate with thousands of apps, including Notion, Trello, and anything else that supports Zapier.

So this is a new feature for routing your memos automatically to appropriate places.
